A New Chapter for Farming Futures

Since 2011, Farming Futures has been powered by passionate students who have built events that connect, inspire, and celebrate Australian agriculture. Over the years, dozens of students have dedicated their time and energy to making Farming Futures what it is today.

Now, we’re taking the next step: launching the Farming Futures Alumni Committee.

Why an Alumni Committee?

We know that the impact of Farming Futures doesn’t stop when students graduate. Our alumni have gone on to exciting careers across agriculture and beyond, and we want to create a space where they can:

• Stay connected to each other and the UNE community.

• Share knowledge and mentor current students.

• Continue contributing to the growth of Farming Futures.

• Celebrate the legacy of past committees while shaping what comes next.

The Alumni Committee is in its early stages and that means now is the perfect time to get involved. We’re looking for past committee members and volunteers who want to help define what this network looks like, from its structure to the opportunities it will offer.
